ASSESSMENT/ VALORACIÓN

Unit 1 was too long and  complicated for many students.

The surveys were carried out through the google page and were sent and completed by email, which increased the digital competence of the students and motivated them to carry out the task as well as providing the results directly in order to be presented. However, the lack of time meant that the pupils in 6th B  could not make their oral presentation about survey results. It was done by pupils in  6th B  although the expositions were very poorly prepared, in most cases pupils just  read   the results. This oral task has not been taken into account for the evaluation of the unit.

The dialogues on cinema and television were prepared and carried out in a very positive way by almost all the students, only three people did not have a good preparation  for this task and they coul not  carry it out properly. Some of the students could even complete the extension task.

La unidad 1 fue demasiado larga y fue muy complicada para muchos alumnos. Las encuestas se realizaron a través de la página de google y fueron enviadas y cumplimentadas por correo electrónico, lo cuál incremento la competencia digital del alumnado y les motivó en la realización de la tarea además de proporcionar los resultados directamente para poder ser presentados. Sin embargo la falta de tiempo hizo que la clase de 6ºB no pudiera realizar la exposición oral sobre sus resultados. Si se realizó en la clase de 6º A, aunque las exposiciones estuvieron muy poco preparadas, limitándose en la mayoría de los casos a la lectura de los resultados. Esta tarea oral no ha sido tenida en cuenta para la evaluación de la unidad. 

Los diálogos sobre cine y televisión si  fueron preparados y realizados en forma muy positiva por casi todo el alumnado, tan solo tres personas no prepararon lo suficiente esta tarea para poder realizarla de forma adecuada.   Algunos de los alumnos pudieron incluso cumplimentar la tarea de ampliación.

ASSESSMENT/VALORACIÓN/

Pupils in  fourth B meet the  new English teacher for first time. They have to addapt to a new way of working in the class.  In general, pupils were motivated by the work system and worked in a good way, although they are not very autonomous and it was neccessary to remind them the tasks that they had to complete. There was only 1 student who did not complete the individual written task. The oral task has been more difficult, since they  worked in pairs and organized their time to prepare the dialogues. There was a small group of  8 students who did not complete the task. In their self-evaluation they analyzed the causes: on the one hand, it was the first time they work in this way and it was difficult because they did not know how they had to start. On the other hand, They spent a lot of time  in class playing or talking instead of working. They acknowledgedthat they did not study at home or in class to prepare the dialogue. Everyone was willing to improve in the second unit.

Este ha sido el primer contacto del alumnado de cuarto B con una nueva maestra de inglés y con su sistema de trabajo.  En general la clase ha respondido bien y se sienten motivados por el sistema de trabajo, aunque son poco autónomos y hay que recordar con frecuencia las tareas que deben ir completando,  tan sólo 1 alumno no ha cumplimentado la tarea escrita individual. La tarea oral ha sido costado más, ya qu tenían que trabajar en parejas y organizar su tiempo para preparar bien los diálogos, ha habido un grupo de unos 8 alumnos/as que no han completado la tarea. En su autoevaluación han analizado las causas:  por un lado, era la primera vez y les costó empezar ya que no sabían muy bien que había que hacer, por otro lado han perdido mucho tiempo en clase hablando de otras cosas en lugar de preparar además algunos renonocen que no han estudiado ni en casa ni en clase para preparar el diálogo. Todos están dispuestos a mejorar en la segunda unidad.

3-EXTENSION TASK: "My advert". Write and publish on the blog an advert. Try to sell a e-gadgets. TAREAS DE AMPLIACIÓN: "Mi anuncio". Escribe y publica en el blog un anuncio. Intenta vender un aparato.

ASSESSMENT/ VALORACIÓN

Unit 1 at the 5th level is used to familiarize students with the use of ICT in the classroom, therefore it is a really motivating drive that make pupils  participate activetily. Almost all the pupils  completed their final tasks, and some of them  had time to complete the extension tasks.
La unidad 1 en el nivel 5º se utiliza para que el alumnado se familiarice con el uso de las TICs en el aula, es por tanto una unidad muy motivadora en la que participen muy activamente. Casi todo el alumnado ha completado sus tareas finales, y algunos han tenido tiempo de realizar la tarea prevista para la ampliación.
